Unidentified Remains

The Parker County Sheriff’s Office and the Tarrant County Medical Examiners Office are seeking assistance in the identification of an unidentified skeletal body in 1985.

The body was recovered on October 27, 1985 at a location 3 miles South of Springtown, TX on State Highway 51. 

The remains are estimated to be a white male, aged 15 to 20 years.  This individual had short brown hair and has had dental restorations.  Clothing associated with the remains include the following:

§        white fleece “Union Bay” jacket

§        Gray cotton “Raphael” brand jacket, size small

§        Dark gray cotton blend jacket, “Gimmick” brand, size small

§        “Guess” brand jeans, blue with leather trim, size 29 x 32

§        “Jockey” brand underwear, size 32-34

The remains were skeletal when discovered.  A coin from 1984 is associated with the case.  The likely time of death/disappearance is 1984 to early 1985.

A facial reconstruction is available for release to the public.
